With more than 30 years of investor relations experience counseling over 400 publicly-listed and private companies, Joe provides JCIR clients senior level strategic counsel on investor relations, corporate and marketing communications, corporate governance and financing matters. He has established a deep record of work on behalf of companies in the entertainment, leisure, gaming and broadcasting sectors and advised clients on a wide range of M&A communications strategies, financings and crisis communications. Over his career, Joe has established strong relationships with leading portfolio managers, investment bankers, analysts, private equity firms, law firms and influential members of the media.
Prior to founding JCIR in 1994, Joe served as Executive Vice President at a prominent multi-national financial communications firm with responsibilities for establishing a domestic practice while serving the IR needs of the firm’s worldwide base of clients. He previously served as Vice President and head of the Investor Relations division at a top-twenty, New York-based public relations firm and prior to that served as a cost consultant for government and corporate clients.
Joe earned degrees in finance and economics at New York University’s College of Business and Public Administration. He has addressed CFOs at The NASDAQ Stock Market’s annual investor relations conference as well as executives of major media companies on methods of improving and coordinating local communications with their parent company. He has also been a member of the JCIR client service teams that were nominated for three consecutive years for Investor Relations magazine’s “Best Overall Investor Relations” (in both the small- and mid-cap categories) and for second place in Institutional Investor magazine’s 2012 All-America Executive Team for Best IR.
Joe resides in Manhattan with his wife and two children.

Since joining JCIR in 2000, Richard has created and managed corporate communications and investor relations programs for clients across industries including casino gaming, entertainment and leisure, technology and consumer products. Client engagements include Marvel Entertainment from its emergence from bankruptcy through its acquisition by Walt Disney Co. in December 2009; and ongoing representation of clients such as WMS Industries, a program nominated three years in a row for “Best Small IR” and multiple time winner of the American Gaming Association’s “Best Annual Report” award; Penn National Gaming; Multimedia Games; and, Gaiam.
Richard approaches each client relationship as an opportunity to expertly understand the client’s business, opportunities, and challenges, and to be fully informed on all internal and external expectations and issues to create client-specific communications programs that address a broad group of stakeholders. Richard focuses on improving the level of interaction and understanding of a client’s business among sell-side analysts, institutional investors and financial and consumer media. His approach to achieving client goals and generating substantial ROI for investor relations and marketing programs is summed up as follows:
“Having candid conversations is the starting point (knowledge base), informs the middle point (product creation) and drives the end point (value-enhancement).”
Prior to joining JCIR Richard served for three years as Vice President with a New York-based IR firm specializing in domestic and international small-cap clients. He previously spent five years as a trader of over-the-counter equities and convertible debentures for a New York investment firm.
He resides in Park Slope, NY, with his wife and two children and enjoys every opportunity to root for Tottenham Hotspur.
Since joining JCIR in 2007, Norberto has leveraged his diverse career experience to bring a unique dimension to his client work in industries including technology, media, consumer goods, healthcare and energy. Norberto takes a strategic, consultative approach to helping clients with their investor relations and overall strategic communications initiatives and prides himself on the intelligence and creativity of the JCIR team.
Norberto began his career on Wall Street in 1996 as an Analyst in the Investment Banking Group of Salomon Brothers. From 1998 to 2003, he was an Associate in the Private Equity Group of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, based out of New York and London. Thereafter, he was employed in the Emerging Markets Group at BBVA, a leading Spanish bank, as an Assistant Vice President for Derivate Sales. Most recently, Norberto served as Vice President of Business Development at a NYC-based hedge fund.
A native of Spain, Norberto graduated cum laude from Fordham University with a BS degree in International Finance, held Series 6, 7 and 63 securities registrations, and is fluent in Spanish and conversational in French. When not in the office, Norberto can usually be found enjoying NYC with his wife and son, and devoting his time to such causes as The Central Park Conservancy.
Since joining JCIR in 2009, Jim has leveraged his background as a sell-side equity analyst to bring a unique perspective to his work with a broad range of our clients including those in the casino gaming, technology and entertainment industries. Possessing an insider’s knowledge of Wall Street, Jim has added to the collaborative efforts of the award-winning casino gaming team – including WMS Industries’ nomination for three consecutive years as “Best Small IR” and Penn National Gaming’s recognition as a top IR team in the Gaming & Lodging sector by Institutional Investor – and furthered JCIR’s strategic approach to the creation of integrated investor relations programs for many of the firm’s clients.
Before joining JCIR, Jim spent over five years in the financial services industry as a sell-side equity analyst and associate with Morgan Joseph and IRG Research, covering a diverse range of technology and media industries. He holds a BA degree in English and Political Science from Bucknell University and has held Series 7, 63, 86, and 87 securities registrations.

Since joining JCIR in 2011, Jennifer’s analytical approach and creativity have guided her work on behalf of JCIR clients in the technology, media and entertainment, broadcasting, and financial services industries. Working with her JCIR colleagues, Jennifer leverages her research background to identify key industry developments that can influence investment decisions or perceptions. As a result Jennifer is instrumental in building high-impact investor relations programs and synchronized communications strategies that help clients achieve the highest sustainable value for their securities. In addition, her creative aesthetics enhance clients’ communications, investor presentations and other internal and external materials.
Prior to joining JCIR, Jennifer was an Associate Analyst for the Chief Economist and Head of Research at a financial services firm where she was responsible for conducting research as well as editing and co-authoring analytical pieces for the firm’s credit and economic research publication. Additionally, she worked closely with the Director of Client Services and collaborated with fund managers during the origination of their marketing presentations and throughout the capital-raise process.
Jennifer graduated from Bryant University with a BS degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. She has earned her Series 7 securities registration.
Outside of the office, Jennifer enjoys dancing classical ballet at a NYC ballet studio. Jennifer also volunteers her time helping local high school students achieve their collegiate aspirations acting as a Mentor.
